Norwalk pursues $500,000 traffic plan – The Hour

The city is poised to churn $500,000 of largely federal money into a citywide Traffic Management Plan — in effect a master plan — that will address not just roads and cars.

“The major goal is to enhance the overall safety and efficiency of travel by motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians and mass transit riders,” wrote Michael Yeosock, senior civil engineer in the city’s public works department, in a memorandum outlining the concept.
