MERIDEN – A late algae bloom at Broad Brook Reservoir over the weekend caused foul-tasting water for some residents of Dana Lane, according to City Manager Lawrence Kendzior. The city got a complaint about the water on see seeclickfix.com, a Web site allowing people to contact officials about municipal problems.
