Whole Foods aims to bring locally raised and locally processed fowl one step closer to Connecticut tables

Eating locally grown food is a lovely concept for both foodies and farmers. The trick for meat-eating Connecticut “locavores” is the problem of getting an animal that’s locally raised in this state and locally slaughtered.
