Jan 1st, 2010 | By Christopher Zurcher | Category: General, Recycling, RiverFairfield, CT — Tuesday, Jan. 5, celebrate the one-year anniversary of Town of Fairfield Green Drinks at “Live Consciously” at Beach Café and start living a healthier lifestyle. Learn how to live consciously and make healthy decisions every day from local, holistic and sustainable businesses. Exhibitors will include Sunlight Solar, Citra Solve, Fairfield Green Food Guide, Healing Hypnosis, Robeks, Pure Point Energy, Fairfield Earth Day Celebration, Riverlution, CT Environmental Headlines, and organic skincare products. Guests will have the opportunity to talk with experts on organic food, organic cleaning products, spiritual healing, organic skin care products, local environmental projects and healthy living practices.
Admission and parking are free, and the first 50 who register will receive a complimentary gift bag. Organic beverages will be available for purchase.
Living consciously is about making thoughtful decisions throughout the day, instead of living by habit. In the fast-paced world that we all live in, it is challenging to make changes to our daily routine, and we don’t always have time or money for the healthiest options. But little by little, we can create healthier and more sustainable communities if we make small, positive changes in our daily habits. Join us at “Live Consciously” and learn how you can live a happier and healthier 2010.
Town of Fairfield Green Drinks meets regularly, the first Tuesday of every month between 6-8 p.m. at Beach Café, located at 2070 Post Road in Fairfield, CT. Our February 2nd Green Drinks, will focus on recycling. For a complete schedule, visit www.fairfieldgreenteam.org.
About Green Drinks International:
Every month people who work in sustainable businesses and organizations and people who care about the environment, meet up at informal gatherings, across the globe, known as Green Drinks. There are over 600 official, recognized groups.
Green Drinks have a lively mixture of people from NGOs, academia, government non-profits, business and people who have an interest in learning more about sustainability. It’s a great way of catching up with people you know and also for making new contacts and friends. Everyone invites someone else along, so there’s always a different crowd, making Green Drinks an organic, self-organizing network.
