GUILFORD — A resident has filed an appeal against recently approved shoreline zoning regulations, saying they contradict other town development plans and have a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

Dirck Goss, whose family recently sold a 624-acre site to the town, filed the appeal against the Planning and Zoning Commission Jan. 7 in Superior Court in New Haven to fight amendments added last month to the coastal area management zoning regulations.
