Feb. 21 (Bloomberg) — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez called on his government to begin developing wind and nuclear energy generation projects amid a drought threatening to halt hydroelectric plants. The nation now depends on hydroelectric power for more than two-thirds of its energy needs.
