The Connecticut Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, along with Bolton’s conservation commission and planning and zoning commission, are urging Gov. M. Jodi Rell to release funds that would be used to complete a multi-use trail from Manchester to Bolton.

With Manchester starting a project soon that would bring the Charter Oak Greenway out to the Highland Park section of town — a few miles from the Bolton border — trail enthusiasts are hoping to continue the momentum and link the path with the Hop River Linear Trail.
