Larson, Lieberman Nudge Coltsville Plan Forward

A knot of interested people gathered in front of Coltsville’s vacant but still stately East Armory Friday to hear a congressman and a senator give Colt’s developer, his lenders, and a Rolodex full of city and state agencies what amounted to a nudge.

U.S. Rep. John Larson and Sen. Joe Lieberman said a bill they’re pushing in Congress will “clear all the federal hurdles” for Coltsville to become a national park ? if Urban Smart Growth can gain financial control of the fractured, sprawling, 260-acre complex and a plan is approved for a public park with a meaningful visitor experience.
