A note from Rockfall Foundation President Brian J. McCarthy on the retirement of Executive Director Virginia Rollefson:

“I am writing to you to let you know of an important change for The Rockfall Foundation. This fall, Ginny Rollefson will be retiring after more than 24 years as Rockfall’s Executive Director.”

“We are proud to recognize Ginny’s outstanding contribution to the success and longevity of the Rockfall Foundation. We can point with pride to her achievements in maintaining, restoring, and operating the deKoven House Community Center, and in building our environmental education, grants and networking programs in Middlesex County. You can be sure that we will take full advantage of Ginny’s remaining time with us to prepare for the transition while assuring the ongoing vitality of our programs.

“In mid May, we will begin a search for a new Executive Director who has the leadership skills and talent to build the Rockfall Foundation’s programs and substantially increase annual giving and membership over the next five years.

“Please do encourage anyone whom you believe to be a good candidate for the Executive Director position to apply. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who shares our vision and has the skills to lead this very special organization.
