Preservation grants awarded to two local groups

The East Lyme Historical Society was awarded $3,900 for a structural assessment of the Thomas Lee house, a building that is listed on the National Register.

The New London Ledge Lighthouse Foundation was given $14,000 for architectural and engineering studies of the Ledge Lighthouse, which is also a building that is listed on the National Register.
