Connecticut will end the federal stimulus-funded appliance rebate program on July 15, after consumers received nearly $3 million back on purchases of washers, refrigerators, air-conditioning units and other qualified energy-efficient appliances.
The program was called “a phenomenal success” by Gov. M. Jodi Rell.
