The first phase of the Streetscape Project along West Main Street is underway and, so far, officials state that the project aimed to make-over the area is moving along smoothly.

This first phase of the project was originally estimated to cost more than $400,000, but the low bid came in at $267,000 and the contractor has done “great work,” according to Jerry Sitko, the Town’s economic development coordinator.
