The Department of Natural Resources & the Environment at the University of Connecticut is searching for a 9-month, tenure-track, Assistant Professor to begin 23 August 2011. We seek applicants with experience in wildlife ecology and the ability to collaborate with state and federal wildlife management agencies. Research interests should feature the use of field techniques, addressing one or more of the following; management of abundant/expanding wildlife, habitat use and population characterization of species of conservation concern, use of geographic information systems (GIS) to understand/predict effects of climate and landscape change on wildlife, and urban/suburban wildlife ecology.
