On Saturday, Oct. 23, the Connecticut Chapter of the Appalachian Mountain Club will host its fourth annual AT Day, a celebration of the 71-year-old national landmark and the volunteers who maintain it.

The event is “a way to recognize the 53 miles of the Appalachian Trail in Connecticut and get as many people out there as we possibly can,” said Stamford resident David Roberts, a member of the CT Chapter of the AMC.
