HARTFORD — Connecticut will borrow about $20 million to repair buildings, upgrade parks and make other improvements in more than a dozen communities, the State Bond Commission decided Wednesday.
A sampling of the other funds approved includes $950,000 to help rebuild Route 34 in New Haven; $200,000 to complete the Bird Building at Indian Rock Nature Preserve in Bristol; and $700,000 to clean up the Palo property in Putnam and a contaminated pond in Wolcott.
