New Attorney General, Jepsen, Digs Heels In

Jan 22nd, 2011 | By | Category: Energy

State Attorney Gen. George Jepsen (D-Ridgefield) said he met last week with representatives of the state Department of Public Utility Control to address the “complex issue” of creating a regulatory environment that will further accelerate energy conservation.

He said that money saved on energy costs for Connecticut consumers would translate into “less money going to Louisiana” for fuel costs and would mean more money would be spent in Connecticut, which is one of only two states, along with Michigan, that reportedly have fewer jobs now than they had 22 years ago.
