Wilton High School is officially solar

On the roof of the school now are 68 290-watt panels that will produce just under 22,000 kilowatt hours a year. The town will buy less electricity from power providers. The data that is being generated from the system, again through a state-funded monitoring system, is designed by Heliotronics will be shared with students across the state. And a scholarship will be created in the memory of the wife of Ron French, Sherry, who passed away four years ago and who was an ardent environmentalist.
