From many perspectives, the state would be better served if green space in Oxford could stay that way, and the mostly unused old factories elsewhere could be put to use.

The cities have density, which means a local work force, existing infrastructure and walkable neighborhoods. Oxford can grow only by continuing to sprawl.

You can’t blame Oxford. The town isn’t breaking any rules. But the world doesn’t end at the town line.
