Litchfield County Comprehensive: Bethlehem adopts ‘no idling’ law

The town, along with several businesses in town, have signed on to the “No Idling” state law which prohibits motor vehicle idling for longer than three minutes.

The town and businesses were approached by the Bethlehem Energy Task Force, a sub-committee of the Conservation Commission, which provided information about the law and asked them to post No Idling signs. The signs will be posted at Town Hall, the Little Town Deli, the U.S. Post Office, Town Apothecary and True Value Hardware.
