(Outward) Bound and determined at Lovelace Preserve

The Greenwich Land Trust (GLT), a local non-profit dedicated to preserving open space permanently, recently welcomed a team of Outward Bound students and their leaders to conduct land stewardship on the GLT’s Lovelace Preserve in Cos Cob.

The students earned merit-based scholarships to attend the 16-day Delaware Water Gap wilderness course, which featured canoeing and backpacking. Students spent their last day working alongside GLT staff removing invasive species along the Mianus River.
