Darrow Pond in East Lyme is ballot-bound: In East Lyme, Connecticut, the purchase of 300 acres at scenic Darrow Pond is on its way to voters today after the town’s board of finance approved a $4.5 million bond. TPL experts played a key role in negotiations to acquire the land, whose peaceful  forests and fields form part of a wildlife corridor-and help protect the local drinking water supply. We’ll keep you posted as the story unfolds: there may be a new park in East Lyme’s future.
