Introducing the Hamden Energy Use & Climate Change Commission (EU&CCC) | The Hamden Journal

Nov 19th, 2011 | By | Category: General

Back in 2005, Hamden was one of the first Connecticut towns to set up an energy task force. The EU&CCC was charged with two missions: 1) to help the town reduce its energy footprint in the interest of reducing its impact on Global Warming, and 2) to assist the town in making wise investments in terms of energy use and efficiency in the interest of saving the town money. Nine residents were appointed and monthly meetings (third Monday of each month) began. Currently, we have two vacancies. The complete roster for the Commission is: Frank Gasparro, Chair; Dave Bruhn; Matt Corcoran; Marty Mador; Frederick Schramm; Amy Sowitcky; and Giovanni Zinn.
