Concern Over ‘Green’ Land Use Proposal

If approved, the so-called “Green Area restrictions” would mean that lots of 7,500 square feet must leave 35 percent of that space unpaved and undeveloped. Advocates of the restrictions say they’re designed to yield a “greener” Greenwich, and that preserving open space—even in small pockets—boosts property values.
