Greenwich Green Team addressing environmental challenges

Protecting the town’s water supply. Cleaning up Long Island Sound. Overdevelopment. The need to conserve open space. These are just some of the environmental challenges currently facing the Town of Greenwich.

While many residents are involved in conservation and environmental issues, we asked Denise Savageau, director of the Town’s Conservation Commission, to identify some of the `movers and shakers’ active in addressing these challenges — what Greenwich Citizen is dubbing “The Green Team.”
