Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority honored for increasing recycling

A statewide organization whose primary mission is improving quality and innovation and manufacturing has honored the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority for increasing the level of recycling among the agency’s Mid-Connecticut Project towns by nearly 20 percent over a three year period ending in 2011.

Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership honored CRRA recently for using public education efforts and an expansion of single stream recycling programs among the 64 cities and towns of the quasi-public agency’s Mid-Connecticut Project.
