Greenleaf Biofuels ready for September biodiesel opening in Connecticut

In Connecticut, the 10 million gallons Greenleaf Biofuels biodiesel plant is expected to be commissioned and operation by September, said company officials as they hosted numerous local and state legislators on a tour of the 8,600 square foot building.

The Greenleaf Biofuels building is the largest conversion plant in New England. It’s able to take used cooking oil, vegetable oil, animal fats and transform them into 10 million gallons of biodiesel fuel a year.
