Today was a historic moment for Branford when Governor Dannel P. Malloy signed a bill at Stony Creek Dock, 35 Indian Point Road. The signing took place at 12:30 p.m. The event commemorated the passage of Public Act 12-165, a new law designed to give Connecticut towns increased opportunity for input when it comes to determining the location of cellular communications towers, Malloy’s office stated in a press release. The Governor will be joined by the bill’s legislative co-sponsors and local town officials.
