DEEP OK’s test of filter’s ability to lower phosphorus levels

The Water Pollution Control Authority has received approval from the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection to conduct a pilot study on disc filters, considered the most cost-effective mechanical method of reducing phosphorus levels in water that’s released into the Quinnipiac River.
