Building on the popularity of the “Green Button” tool currently available to its NSTAR Electric customers in Massachusetts, Northeast Utilities is rolling out the energy-saving initiative at all six of its utility companies in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Green Button – an industry-led effort responding to a White House call to action to provide national uniformity for how customers can securely access their own energy usage data – will be available to all of NU’s more than 3 million residential and business customers by the end of this year.
