Seahorse found in Long Island Sound

The seahorse, Hippocampus erectus, is native, but an uncommon sight in Long Island Sound. This seahorse was found in October in a seine net during a field trip of educators attending the New York State Outdoor Education Association annual conference at Brookhaven Laboratory in Upton, Long Island.
