Recycle New Haven’s ‘Sustainability Czar’ Job?

Dec 3rd, 2012 | By | Category: Featured Story

Three months after the head of the Office of Sustainability left her post, the city is considering whether the office itself should be recycled.

Christine Eppstein-Tang (at right in photo), who was the inaugural director of the city’s Office of Sustainability in 2009, stepped down in August as she was moving out of state.

The Office of Sustainability worked on initiatives to make New Haven greener and more environmentally friendly.

Since Eppstein-Tang’s departure, her post has been vacant.
