Farmington Aims To Be Bicycle-Friendly

FARMINGTON – The town is pedaling toward a special distinction – to be named a “Bicycle Friendly Community.” In Connecticut, only one town — Simsbury — has earned the designation, bestowed upon an elite group of cities and towns throughout the country by the League of American Bicyclists, a Washington-based nonprofit that promotes cycling for fun, fitness and transportation.
