The Drake Hill Bridge in Simsbury is one of many local structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places. But there’s more than just age that makes this bridge stand out.

The Drake Hill Bridge is a Parker truss bridge built in 1892 across the Farmington River near Simsbury center. There are only three Parker truss bridges left in the state of Connecticut.
