Middletown Council OKs Purchase of 2,000 acres of Maromas open space

Middletown’s land purchase ups its open space in Maromas to 2,000 acres and the Greenskies solar energy deal will reduce the city’s energy costs and carbon dioxide emissions.

The common council Monday approved the $150,000 purchase of 50 acres of open space in the Maromas area of Middletown.
