State’s lobster industry in hot water

This fall, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection will close the lobster fishery in the state for three months. Any lobster you buy during that time will come from elsewhere.

The closure is the state’s answer to a federal mandate to reduce lobster harvest by 10 percent a year.

    I think your choice of title is terrible. Again selling a story by scare techniques!! The decision to hold-off the lobster harvest was mutually agreed upon – not happily, as lively hoods are at stake. How about a vote of thanks for the industry and a change in marketing by the press!!
