Governor’s S.B. No. 27 addresses several goals including a new solid waste management plan, setting a timeline to “repurpose” the Hartford incinerator, and create what will be known as the Connecticut Recycling Foundation. Gov. Malloy wants to double the amount of recyling in the next decade.

On Good Morning Connecticut Friday, News 8?s AJ Walker spoke with Abe Scarr of Connecticut Public Interest Research Group, or ConnPIRG, about the bill.
