Seven Connecticut River watershed projects are getting over $445,000 in grants from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

It’s the 12th round of grants awarded from the Upper Connecticut River Mitigation and Enhancement Fund, created as part of a 1997 settlement agreement between the parties involved in the federal process to award a new operating license for three hydroelectric dams on the river near Littleton, New Hampshire, and Ryegate, Vermont.
