Everyone can help watershed council keep Connecticut River clean

Jul 4th, 2014 | By | Category: River, Water

The Connecticut River Watershed Council is encouraging people to do two things while out celebrating the holiday weekend: recycle and scout trash.

Recycling and keeping an eye out for trash while outdoors helps keep trash out of the state’s rivers. Individuals can report litter sites in need of clean-up volunteers to CRWC on their website atwww.ctriver.org/source-to-sea-cleanup and click on Report Trash Site or call their office at 860-704-0057.
