Lawsuit filed against environmental departments suggests disregard for laws

Cromwell-based Connecticut Energy Marketers Association filed a lawsuit Friday in Hartford Superior Court against The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority. CEMA alleges both the state agency and the state regulatory board violated state environmental laws in an effort to fast-track Gov. Dan Malloy’s multi-billion dollar energy plan.
