Sound Communities Forum

Join us for this special forum on environmental issues affecting Long Island Sound and efforts to preserve and protect the health of the Sound.
Featuring a keynote presentation by CT DEEP Deputy Commissioner, Susan Frechette and panel presentations by Judy Preston, CT Sea Grant, Penny Vlahos, Dept. of Marine Sciences, UConn/Avery Point, David Bingham, CT League of Conservation Voters and Bill Kirby, Environmental Protection Specialist, US Coast Guard.
High school students from teams who placed in the Quahog Bowl, one of 25 regional competitions of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl, will also be recognized during the event.
Hosted by the CGA Sustainability Club and New London County Environmental Educators Coalition.

Free & open to the public.  Come at 6:45 to visit informational table displays before the event.
