Covanta Announces First Organics Recycling Agreement in Connecticut With Lake Compounce Theme Park

As part of the three-year agreement, organic waste from Lake Compounce will be processed at a new organics recycling facility to be built by Turning Earth in Central Connecticut. Covanta will provide education and training for Lake Compounce employees in the proper methods for source-separating organics.

Covanta Energy and Turning Earth partnership to provide organics recycling to Connecticut towns and businesses

Covanta Energy Corporation and Turning Earth have announced a new partnership to provide organics recycling to Connecticut municipalities and businesses. The 10-year agreement calls for Turning Earth to build, own and operate an integrated organics recycling facility in central Connecticut to which Covanta will divert organic waste for beneficial reuse in partnership with municipalities and commercial customers.
