While visiting Fuel Cell Energy Inc. today in Torrington, U.S. Rep. John B. Larson and Sen. Richard Blumenthal announced they will introduce legislation aimed at improving fuel cell and hydrogen energy infrastructure and increasing federal incentives for the use of fuel cell technology to strengthen a growing industry and help reduce the nation’s dependence on foreign oil.

FuelCell Energy Reports First Quarter Revenues Up

FuelCell Energy reported total revenues for the first quarter of 2012 of $31.3 million compared to $28.1 million in the same period last year. Product sales and revenues in the first quarter increased 15 percent to $29.6 million compared to $25.8 million in the prior year quarter, due to increasing demand for Direct FuelCell power plants, components and installation services.
