A Bill that will ban outdoor wood furnaces will be a Committee Bill before the Environment Committee of the CT State Legislature this session. The Bill will exempt farmers and their farm houses from the proposed ban. Read more inside!
The Connecticut Coalition for Environmental Justice Safe Fishing Program is looking for volunteers who would like to participate in this research and education program. CCEJ is studying consumption of fish caught in the Quinnipiac River in New Haven and North Haven.
