Development group submits budget to Preston selectmen

Preston – The Preston Redevelopment Agency submitted its proposed 2013-14 budget to the selectmen Thursday, asking for $216,420 in operating funds and possibly another $145,000 if the agency is successful in obtaining cleanup grants for the former Norwich Hospital property that require local matching amounts. Poquetanuck Cove to be target of conservation plan

Governor’s Greenways Council Presents 13th Annual Greenways Awards

The Governor’s Greenways Council has commended six individuals that have made significant contributions to the promotion, development and enhancement of Greenways – linear open space in Connecticut – and designated five new greenways at a ceremony at the Firehouse on the Steele Brook Greenway in Watertown.
