Each year since 2008, the Tri-State Transportation Campaign has published a report, Most Dangerous Roads for Walking, using three years of data to map the location of each pedestrian death. Route 1 has been Connecticut’s deadliest road in every report.

The Tri-State Transportation Campaign will honor the junior senator from New York Kirsten Gillibrand at its 2010 Annual Benefit, from 6 to 9 p.m. Nov. 11, at the Midtown Loft, 267 Fifth Ave., Manhattan.
