The Stonington Inland Wetlands Commission has approved a permit that developer David Lattizori needs to build a 37-lot subdivision on the Perkins Farm property off Jerry Browne Road.

Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal won a court injunction today that stops illegal logging in multiple Connecticut towns where extensive unpermitted tree harvesting – enough timber to build about 75 houses – has already caused significant environmental damage.

WINSTED — The town’s Plan of Conservation and Development took one fairly sizable step towards being enacted Wednesday night, as the Board of Selectmen and the public had a chance to weigh in. via Winsted Selectmen sign off on Plan of Conservation and Development draft — with revisions – The Register Citizen.
